Cost Draughtsman



Our client a national law firm is looking to recruit a Costs Drafts-men to join their Injury risk team. The costs unit deal with all aspects of defendant litigation, to include catastrophic industry, motor and casualty.



This is a varied role with scope for personal development and your responsibility will be to act on behalf of all major composite insurers, dealing with pre-litigation and post-litigation claims for damages and costs.



With training and development you will have the responsibility for running your own case load of pre litigated and post litigated costs cases, setting strategy and negotiating settlement/running to assessment. As you gain experience through your training you will progress to working on more challenging and complex cases.



You will require experience gained within working a legal environment and must be able to demonstrate working on own initiative. You must have strong customer service and negotiation skills and thrive working in a pressurised environment.
