Injection Moulding Tool Setter

Job ref: PS/9742

Salary: £20000 - £23000 p.a.

Location: Shropshire, West Midlands



Responsibilities:



• To set up machinery to first off standard.

• Ensuring use of set process parameters.

• To monitor injection moulding process, ensuring product quality and repeatability.

• To ensure all tooling is maintained to a high standard, liaising with Maintenance Departments when faults are identified to ensure rectification.

• To ensure all Health and Safety regulations and guidelines are adhered to, any non conformances reported to relevant personnel.

• To ensure Quality Department are made aware of any issues and all non conforming products are quarantined.

• To ensure production paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely fashion.

• To liaise with Maintenance Department to ensure equipment is maintained in good serviceable condition, ensuring TPM schedule is adhered to.

• To work where necessary to TS 16949

• To work where necessary to ISO 140001

• To carry out any additional duties as could be reasonably expected.



Requirements:



• 3 to 5 years experience of plastic processing machinery, preferably in the Automotive sector.

• Numerate, Literate and PC Literate and basic understanding of Microsoft Office.

• NVQ 3 in Polymer Processing or Edquiv

• Familiar with TS and ISO accreditation

• Experience with Linear Vibration Welding
